Habitat:
Largemouth
bass prefer large, widespread waters that are warm. The water can be
slowly flowing or still. This species has been known to thrive in farms
and built dams.
Distribution:
Highly distributed.
Bait:
Will eat anything that become available and they feed on crabs, frogs,
worms, smaller fish and lizards in nature.
Description:
Largemouth bass are a light green almost olive coloured. The fish has
blotches or stripes down the sides of the fishes body. Stripes flow out
of the eye area.
Fishing Strategy:
As with other bass species, largemouth bass like to hide and creep up
to bait. They can be found near vegetation, floating grass, and any
other hiding places.
Eating Quality: Good Eating Fish.
